  I use to swear by this place but since taken over by Sobey's it's definitely on a downward spiral. The staff before Sobey's take over seemed to be a really happy crew and although they still retain some of that great staff, the mood is now much more sombre. It was also a place that could be relied upon to have the best selection of organic and environmental products and produce but those are disappearing now. I still shop here because I know and enjoy a lot of the old staff here.

  Shelves are always neat and tidy and they have real people on the till that that have training and can do their job without a manager for every little transaction.

  Clean, easy to navigate and has the quality brands you expect of Safeway and sobeys.

  Decent grocery store. Great produce and excellent flower selection. I have never had a problem with parking and it is in a convenient location.

  To Sobey's...Stop homogenizing you different brands. Safeways should be kept as a high tier shopping experience. I don't mind paying a bit more for that.
