If I could make this a "0" I would. I only seen him less than a handful of times through my pregnancy. My baby had IUGR and my family doctor took me off work and was concerned about my ultrasounds so she urged me to go see my OB. Dr Akuyinbi brushed me off every time I had a concern. I was measuring up to 7 weeks behind and he said it was fine. Every time I went for an appt he had no recollection of my case, who I am, name, age, number of children. Every time he asked me my blood type, which I did not know, my family doctor told me he has the information! He would spend time with me for a maximum of 3 minutes every time. I drove 1 hour, waited for up to an hour and a half, to be seen for 3 minutes. My questions weren't answered and I was always sent out quickly. (not to mention, his desk lady waa horrible to deal with every time. When id phone in, she would put me on hold for up to half an hour and never would come back to me.. everytime!!) I tried 3 times to switch obstetricians but Akiynbis office would not sign off on my files. I went to the hospital when i was in labor, the hospital could not find my blood type and told me my OB should have it listed in my little information book. He did not ofcourse. They then tell me I am B Strep positive.. which took me by surprise because Akuyinbi told me I was negative for it, twice. After birth, my placenta was stuck and I had to have a horrible procedure without medication to retrieve it. I almost bled to death, they had me prepared for an emergency hysterectomy (which thank god didn't end up needing to happen). The nurses told me that it was something that would have shown up in ultrasounds and that my Doctor should have caught. Which brings me back to the fact that my family doctor urged me to him when she found something in my ultrasound concerning my placenta. Which he shrugged off. I was almost 41 weeks when I had my baby and he was only measuring at 35 weeks, which Akuyinbi did not act worried about. This is the shittiest doctor I've ever come across and it makes me sick to my stomach when I think about him.
